The "Natural Movement"

Can we say over it? I've been natural my whole life, and it was a concious decision. Since my only perm experience in middle school, I was like hell no. there's no way God gave me hair only to sit and burn it off. SO I grew that mess out and never looked back. Now erry body want to "go natural". WHY IS THIS A TREND??!?! why is doing NOTHING strange to your hair such a big deal? And the worst is the same chicks who called me nappy and threw shade at me in highschool and middle school with quaint remarks like
"You been to the dominicans yet?"
"Damn girl your kitchen is rough"
"Time for a perm shorty"
are the SAME chicks talkin bout "natural hair dont care"
Shade I say! I throw shade!
I mean it's cool, i think everyone should be natural. But stop acting like you've invented something new. It's basic. You're basic. I'm basic. let's all embrace our basicness and acknowledge that the only thing we're doing is acknowledging that God got it right the first time. Not SoftSheen Carson.
