It took Piano a moment to realize that this was SWN-002. Silence was his response as she felt a bad realization: both the SWNs don’t seem to like her. She debated just keeping the number for herself, but no. That would get her in trouble.
::I am doing you a favor. Do you want to officially be SWN-002 or not?:: She had given up on the aggressiveness for a while, but how dare he? ::In order to enter you into the computer I need to know some basic information; name, perhaps appearance, etc.:: A bitterness was in her voice as she glared at the computer screen. Sharp was beating her at her own function: keep Forte in order. She didn’t expect to envy him so much. And for what, to be disliked by another?
Sharp’s curtness was more a reflection of his general attitude than his personal feelings for Piano. This conversation was checking off more than a few things on his list of “Things Sharp Doesn’t Like”: talking to strangers, talking period, talking about himself, doing what Forte told him to...
::I’m not officially anything. I’m not going in Wily’s database. I don’t exist.:: He was still coming to terms with the fact that he did have a tangible impact on this world, and for a while after the Roboenza outbreak had cleared up Sharp had been hovering with a pair of scissors over his tether, ready to cut and run and avoid responsibility. Having an official record of his existence was an extension of that that he wasn’t ready to face. ::Can’t you just put that the number’s claimed and move on?::
