this event is mandatory for all celebrities.
the trip will run from the 20th - 24th of november. however, members are allowed to carry on threads after the event is over.
members are allowed to put any non event related posts on hold during this time. however this is optional.
while it's not mandatory, children are allowed. if you are wanting your celebrity to take their children, please dm the main. otherwise it will be assumed they are not going.
there will be a full itinerary and list of activities for the celebrities to enjoy. however you are not limited to these, please feel free to get creative with what your celebrities get up to.
if anything happens during the event, please send it to the gossip blog and we can make up a post exposing the drama.
the roommates will be completely randomised, and are non negotiable. unless a couple is on our relationships list, they will not be sharing a room. celebrities who are bringing their kids will be sharing a cabin with another parent. kids will be getting their own rooms.
please try to branch out and interact with those your celebrities are sharing cabins with.

we hope that you're all packed and ready to fly to one of the most magical places on earth. unfortunately, with only a limited number of cabins available, and a high demand for this trip, celebrities must share with two others. but don't worry, you all will be getting your own private bedroom and bathroom. not a fan of kids? no need to stress, families will be placed together in one of our larger child friendly cabins. we cannot wait for you to arrive at the northern lights resort.

leave your bikini's behind and get practicing your snow angels, because you have been invited to a weekend winter wonderland. for four nights, you will be sleeping underneath the northern lights.
based just on the edge of the artic circle, you can enjoy glass roofed cabins, perfect for stargazing. as well as many winter related activities, such as sledging, reindeer safari and aurora chasing. do you have children? why not take a trip to lapland, to visit santa and his elves, busy at work in the grotto.

get ready to leave your daily routine behind, and indulge in all that finland has to offer. down below you'll have the itinerary of all the activities we have set up for you. there's a little bit of everything for each and every one of you to enjoy and get into the holidays spirit, as well as for your little ones. this is purely for inspiration, and if you chose to have your celebrities explore on their own - then that is more than okay, as well! the only mandatory event will be the arrival dinner which will take place in a unique glass igloo.
ITINERARY:
day 1 : thursday, november 20th arrive & check-in
check-in, 3pm - everyone will arrive to the northern lights resort and settle into their cabins. welcome amenities will be provided; red wine for the adults, and hot chocolate for the kiddos. where can they retrieve this? in the lobby, which would also be a great time to mingle with everyone and possibly make new friends.
welcome dinner, 7pm - a multi-course meal will be provided for all guests at the aurora restaurant. each dish comes with the option of doing a wine pairing. all children will get a scaled back meal, but still rather tasty. this dinner is mandatory, as we would like to get everyone interacting on the dash, and it'd be the perfect opportunity to branch out and mingle with others.
open bar, 9pm - after dinner, all celebrities are welcome to head over to the igloo bar for the open bar. in the mood for a martini? or maybe a good mocktail? the skies the limit since it is a full bar.
northern lights & husky sleigh ride, 10pm - we'll be ending our very first night under the northern lights as we offer up husky sleigh rides for all.
day 2 : friday, november 21st outdoor activities & meeting santa
dog sledding : for those that couldn't squeeze it in the night before; this will be offered all weekend for all celebrities.
free time - this day will be mostly dedicated to enjoying yourself around the resort. whether that's outside making a snowman or snow angels, or indulging in one of the many restaurants or bars on property.
santa claus village, 6pm - this isn't mandatory, but there will be shuttles awaiting all celebrities that chose to visit santa claus village. this is perfect for those traveling with their kids. dinning options are available at the village, along with a reindeer farm and the chance of meeting santa claus himself.
s'mores & hot coco, 8pm - the northern lights resort will be lighting up their fire pits, so those that would like to keep warm by a fire while enjoying a s'more or two can hang about outside. this would be another great opportunity to see the northern lights while enjoy a good snack and warm beverage. cozy throw blankets will also be provided, so you can bundle up and mingle with those that are also enjoying this perk.
day 3 : saturday, november 22nd the skies the limit
absolute free day - enjoy the day doing what you'd like. hit up the resorts sauna, head over to santa claus village again or simply enjoy your day in bed while you enjoy the view of snow falling.
day 4 : sunday, november 23rd reindeer safari & movie night
reindeer safari, 8am - there will be shuttles transporting whoever would like to venture out for the reindeer safari. this is a perfect adventure to join in on with your little ones, as you get to see santa's reindeers in their natural habitat. the shuttles will then transport everyone back to the resort at 11am.
free time, 11am-7pm - your celebrities will be able to roam around and do as they please with their friends and family all afternoon. maybe get a couples massage? go skiing? or grab a nice little cocktail as you mingle with those around; fully enjoy your last full day in finland.
christmas movie marathon, 7pm - please, join us in the resorts sunroom where we'll have a projector set and ready for a christmas movie marathon. we'll be showing a variety of films that'll fit everyone. 'how the grinch stole chrismtas' will start off strong, 'followed by home alone', 'love actually', 'christmas with the kranks' and ending with 'the family stones'.
day 5 : monday, november 24th depart resort & head home
depart resort, 11am - everyone departs from the resort and head home or wherever your celebrity is needed next!
okay as your cabin slash parent buddy i am asking for a ride tonight, wait that sounds bad, i mean sleigh ride, i'm also hoping to get at least one martini tonight but don't worry i have no plans on getting drunk, so tell me do you have any plans for this trip or you just going with the vibes like me?
