I am really happy to have my piece Choosing Flowers accepted into the Society of Illustrators annual! I am very surprised and very excited. :D

I’ve won a Silver medal from the Society of Illustrators in the uncommissioned category of their 65th annual competition and exhibition for my art that benefited the FIT Black Student Illustrators Award. I’ve been struggling for 16 years hoping to win a medal someday so this feels good! The judges also chose for inclusion my Criterion Collection cover for Rouge and my Alice in Wonderland Whiskey bottle series for Rabbit Hole Distillery. Thanks to my art directors Eric and Dac, the jury, the Society of Illustrators, and Dandy Wellington my collaborator on the FIT Black Student Illustrators Award art. We will be doing another fundraiser again soon so stay tuned for more hopefully award winning art
