They had issued him a BB gun, but a BB gun that was fit for his size. Something like that would most certainly hurt a lot, but it was not particularly lethal. He reached back, the BB gun being released from the holding clamps on his shoulder, and cocked it. For a toy, it sounded pretty threatening.

“I suggest you run.”

────  ﹙ ✖ ﹚  ─  It was the little things in life. A pair of shocked eyes, red dripping slowly onto the scuffed floor. The way predators roam the night. Always interesting how a persons fears grow   (   over the supposed unknown   ---   nothing is ever as it appears   )   bit by bit. Perhaps that’s what he truly finds fascinating   ---   the possibilities in the unseen   ---   aspects less amusing in this place.    ❛    Do you have a point.    ❜    Annoyance bleeding from his words, would be frown lost in the swarm. None the less insignificant.

CROWDED AND ALIVE, no matter where his steps carried him there was no escape from the noise and suffocating presence of the many humans crawling about like ants. The city was a labyrinth of steel and concrete, in its purpose a caricature of his castle. 

Begrudging the bitter reality of requiring help, he approached the least human appearing person in his sight, a woman whose complexion called forth memories of demons he lorded over.

             “...YOU BLEND WELL INTO THE NIGHT. TELL ME, DO YOU KNOW OF A PLACE IN THIS CITY AWAY FROM PRYING EYES?”
