Kai:
I can see him hanging out with the Nahkt Samigina/Mars Chevalier duo; the first one because they could bond over card games (and Nahkt is the kind of guy who is not easily affected by mean people), the second because I think Kai would have heard of him since Mars used to be a Diasomnia student before transferring... Opposite guys, both older siblings, one is serious, the other is more the fun type.
There's also Pleiade Campbell who I can propose as a swordfighting partner... his personality could infuriate her but she understands family pressure...
Sol:
Sol could also hang out with Nahkt, I think there would be less tension between them and it would be easier for them to talk ?
There's also Ourania Brahms he could get along with, they have opposite vibes but his puns would be able to make her laugh a lot ! She is very weak to those. And she can join for card games too.
Mia:
Omgeee Miss... Mia could get along with Samara Al-Asim, even if she is the touchy type, Samara would accept with a pout that Mia doesn't like that. They could get into a lot of funny trouble together, and I think Mia would appreciate Samara's honesty. By extension, Mia could also get to hang out with the other girls of the Arsonist Trio, Sabrina Shelby and Geneviève Viollet.
There's also maybe Cyrila Prinz, a bit more of a voice of reason but she would be the type to cheer on Mia, and try to do some damage control at the same time, while appreciating the chaos she creates at the same time.

Brief Background:
The middle child of the Salazar siblings. Sol appears your typical happy-go-lucky go who is easy to get along with compared to his other siblings. Almost hardly ever seen without a smile on his face, he's a walking ray of sunshine who tries his best to get along with the people he meets. Although he looks all brawn and no brain, Sol is more known for his street smarts and intuitive approach to magic. Compared to his older brother, a lot of people sleep on Sol's capabilities due to his hyper-friendly exterior. His personality plus his bright orange hair makes him stand out from his Octavinelle dorm mates.
Currently, he holds the family's moral compass together with bubblegum, spit, and rubber bands.
