Back in January I had my first live show with my band Søl Søp at Pete's Candy Store and it was a lot of fun- I live for this kind of thing, performing for people who showed up for it. It's gratifying to say the least. Check out some Søl Søp recordings now up at Garrettharan.bandcamp.com

Whoah do y’all remember shows? Pre-quarantine I played a show at Pete’s Candy Store (across and under the BQE from the Tick Tock Diner), that was practically my first ever with this much accompaniment! A drummer and a bassist too? Get outta town! Well, I did but just for the week. I’m out it the Pennsyltucky sticks working on Søl Søp three and making sure all the clocks in my late grandfathers house work. There’s a clock in practically every room in this house, and a lot of them have stopped ticking since he died back in 2007. So that’s my other mission- and so far I’m doing only ok at it lol. My favorite one is the clock in the garage that somehow wound up running fast? Have you ever heard of such a thing? It’s chugging along out there, tick tick tick tick tick tick like at 5 times the usual rate. It sounds like a car starting up! Hahaha what is life sometimes? The one I’m looking to fixing most is the clock in the den, that has a different bird call for every hour.
