I don’t share much of my art anymore, but here’s a small portion of all the Melvin and Florence fluff I’ve been working on over the last few months. They are literally what keep me alive some days istg also no I will not say sorry for constantly drawing hugs

Tonight’s scribble. I gave mel little wings because I got to thinking; the dude is a saint for more reasons than one. This character is one of the strongest reasons that I got out of one of the worst depressions of my life. I know that sounds insane, but it’s absolutely true. Melvin gave me my creative drive and imagination back. He’s a saint.

The spookiest most lovable mans of all. Mel is a piano teacher in his spare time, you see. He offers all students emotional support and tea. He is. Everyone’s Dad.

It felt really nice to take the day for myself and just draw. I needed it.
