Marsai Murry, the friend of Solange and cousin of Caila Marsai Martin was struck by a bullet and passed away in 2003. Martin was born in 2004. The @blackishabc stars middle name carries the legacy of her cousin, who was an active church goer and great influence on Solange. The family is now remembering her life through a Spelman College scholarship. They will be raising money for the scholarship over the next 5 years.
