The day after I arrived home from London was Woodland Park Zoo’s ‘Hoot For The Hood,” which is a neighborhood appreciation event. I wandered over to the zoo, was given a nighttime visibility light sponsored by VisionZero (group working towards zero pedestrian deaths), ate a minty ice cream bar (not shown), got to see a South American armadillo and the penguins, and took a ride on the solar-powered carousel.
