“What’s happening!?” Senua is panicking, and desperately seeking answers from the first Guardian she encounters. Her Ghost is weak, and so is she, and there’s the added pain to accompany it. She hadn’t been in the City when the Cabal struck, so she has little idea as to why this is happening. Her fear is that her curse, her darkness, is coming back to take her in this life too, only it seems to be trying to take her poor Ghost as well.

Stumbling into the makeshift outpost, tired and still covered in her warpaint, she doesn’t know what to do, or what to think. The voices are all shouting around her; they feel her pain and exhaustion too, and they’re split between belittling her and encouraging her. “Galena just... fell, and I’m in so much pain. I haven’t been able to get into contact with anyone...”

A Quarian, with a squad of about four more a half step behind, steps into view. The squad’s weapons are drawn and ready, tension hunching shoulders as they remained train on their targets, fingers ready with the tension of the moment before a firefight begins.

The one who spoke comes forward, a more relaxed edge to her gait as she steps a mere two strides away from the intruder, her pistol drawn, but it lays at her side in a false nonchalance. Glowing eyes however never leave their target, the slight narrowing of them giving away her fierce concentration as she speaks again, “ You are trespassing on a Quarian held area, identify yourself.”

    – ▇ ▌ “I'm being deployed to go fight a Hive behemoth called Phogoth and my fireteam is indisposed -- could you perhaps accompany me? the company of Warlocks is best.”      asking random Guardians to assist with their mission is something Ephesians see as stooping really low to but they've heard stories of the behemoth and they needed allies.

She’d just gone back into orbit when her ship had taken a hit to the right wing. Samus cursed under her breath and started to pilot the ship (with no avail) into a downward spiral toward Earth, trying to ease the landing somewhat. Sadly, that didn’t do jack for her and the ship crashed right into a worn down and abandoned gas station in Old Russia, completely demolishing it in the process. The ship would be fine, though, it’d need some repairs... Samus, however, was now stumbling out of it and trying to regain her composure, as hard as that is in a situation like this. Ears ringing, blurry vision, and off balance-- She leaned against a rather large chunk of debris and took a few deep breaths, slowly but surely regaining herself. She never noticed the other ship incoming on her position.

“Go, go, go!” she yelled as they sprinted. Turns out, the Vex still had the ability to overwhelm. She had been doing so much with the Fallen and the Hive, that the Vex for whatever reason had seemed simple. The mission had been clear, clear out a nest, make sure it was clear and report back to the Tower.

But things had gone a little haywire (as they were wont to do) and currently, Badb and her fireteam were trying to find a new position to defend from. But Badb had always been bad at defense. With a snarl, she turned and launched herself into the mass of Vex stumbling and teleporting after them.

Her fists smashed into the ground and she felt the flood of energy from her body. The blue lightening crackled and arced, spreading out and tracing along the ground, looking for anything to destroy, anything to render into smouldering parts and fleeting ash.

“Brother, sister!” she called over her shoulder to her team as she kicked through the soft glowing core of the nearest Goblin, reaching for another and pulling it’s arm off. “This is the turning of the tide, please come and join me,” and she laughed as she reached in and tore out the things eye stalk.
