Fun fact: the art style of the album is stylized as in the family mart logo!

advantage Lucy - 遠い日 (Distant Sun) from the 2005 album, Echo Park Formed in 1995 as “Lucy Van Pelt” and eventually changing their name to “advantage Lucy” in 1998 per the request of the Peanuts trademark holders, the Tokyo-based Shibuya-kei group has recorded for 20+ years. The original lineup consisted of Aiko Hiramine (vocals), Yoshiharu Ishizaka (guitar), Takayuki Fukumura (guitar), Kaname Banba (drums), and Kazuko Sakamoto (bass). Hiramine and Ishizaka are the only original members that are still active. With Sakamoto gone in 1997 and Fukumura right behind him in 1999 during the height of the band’s career, advantage Lucy persisted as a trio and subsequently formed Solaris Records in 2001. Since then, they’ve continued to record and perform even with Banba’s leave in 2005
