There’s something WISTFUL in her stare, eyes drawn miles away. “ Lance -- What is POETRY like on earth? “ Perhaps he isn’t the right person to ask, she has no idea whether POETRY remains something popular there, if it’s well known and well read or not. But she knows that the verses she’d once loved and adored by heart were, for the most part, lost to time by now. “ That is -- do you read it at all? “

Everyday for a month. Hunk had been training with the sentries that the room provided for him. Slowly and surely, he started to advance to the higher levels the programming provided. He would get scratches and bruises here and there. However, he ignored it.
He would normally deal with it at the med bay.
The Yellow Paladin must have been so immersed on his training that he did not hear Lance stepped into the room. It was only when he heard his name was when he had stopped.
“Lance, hey!” His serious look faltered upon seeing his friend, “What’s up?”
🌊 * an unexpected lurch causes mech to nearly slam into an asteroid -- inexperienced paladin and a galra speeder in hot pursuit make for a rather unfortunate combination. “they’re starting to advance,” her tone remains level, concealing slight urgency. . . tide is slowly rising, but her pilot is learning. “perhaps try the other switch on the panel -- this may require hyperdrive more than a brake.”

50. — punctual
50. – punctual.
“you’re late.” he says it the second he hears the doors hiss open, footsteps clambering across the metal floor. it’s not an irritated tone. not even a disapproving one. it’s just an objective fact, flat and monotone. he’d expected a paladin of voltron -- one-fifth of earth’s sole hope for survival -- to be a bit more, well, punctual.
“let’s just get started, then,” he turns his back on the paladin, hoisting his gun to eye level, aiming it at the line of targets that hang from the opposite wall. “since we’re already fifteen minutes behind schedule.”

“explore space, they said. it’ll be fun, they said. you’ll enjoy it, they said.” he’s trying to avoid stepping in any of the deeper puddles. the armor might protect them from the cold of space, but not so much when wet. Shiro is equally as enthused, arms crossed and attempting to retain what little body heat he could when freezing metal leached it away. he springs over one of the larger patches of ice, slipping on the edge and flailing to not end up in the nearest snow bank. “I know Blue is fine for water, but I’m not sure she’s meant for snow even if it is just frozen water. don’t be blaming me, I voted for the other planet first. not the freezing one that might not even have people on it.”

@solarshooter ♡‘d for a holiday starter
『 "You know Lance, now that you’re finally back, I say it’s time we bring back our oldest and greatest family tradition.” By that, she meant the holiday bake off the McClain siblings held. It always ended in a huge mess, but it was a ton of fun. “We could even team up and finally take Marco down.” 』

❝YES! WE DID IT!❞ After two years of getting Killbot Phantasm I, they had finally reached the final level together, beating the boss with everything they had. Triumphantly, Lance had lifted Pidge up into the air, both of them WHOOPING AND HOLLERING about their long awaited accomplishment. Caught up in their jubilation, she didn’t realize they were falling to the floor until it was too late. Once she hit the floor with a loud ‘ thud ’ and a groan, that’s when she realized that she needed to clean her room. Specifically the floor.
