“Yoruichi-san…I…”  

How could Yoruichi, one who she felt was truly courageous - who gave up her post as Captain of the 2nd, and her position as the next head of the Shihoin clan to do what she felt was right - how could she, call her brave?  “I am more broken than brave, I think…”   

She was more afraid than she was not - most of the time - and the kindness she showed others was something that had come naturally her entire life.  She was determined to not allow what happened to her change that aspect of her personality.  Although now - she was more selective with whom she allowed close to her - but still endeavored to be amiable with everyone.  She shrugged her shoulders and smiled, “..and maybe a little stubborn?”

She’s eyeing the black cat. The sudden urge to pet the creature grew stronger the more she watched the cat doing whatever cats do. But a thought was also in the back of her mind:

What if this cat is yoruichi-san?

If only she knew the difference between a regular cat and yoruichi’s cat form. If only Yuyuka wasn’t so fond of cats to begin with. Then maybe she wouldn’t be in this dilemma. 

“Er- yoruichi-san? Is that you?”
