Finally had my Solas painted by the talented Angeltoast. I asked for a younger, less jaded appearance and I think she delivered!

Finally had my Solas painted by the talented Angeltoast. I asked for a younger, less jaded appearance and I think she delivered!
All heads unpacked and double checked. Awaiting shipping supplies to arrive for mailing this week.
Everyone should have a shipping total in their PM's on DoA with paypal address for payment.
Addresses have been confirmed and I will be preparing labels for shipping at the end of this week after payment is received. All orders will be packed this weekend and prepared for shipping early next week. I will keep you updated with the progress.

Here are some eye comparisons
I had some old Eyeco eyes in my box (been out of the hobby for a while) and I wanted to show you the difference in sizes. Eyeco eyes have smaller irises, and they're pretty flat, so keep that in mind. Also, if you're shopping for glass or urethane, high domed eyes will not work well in this head if you're trying to go smaller for realism. High domes on smaller eyes will experience gaps.
Eyes I tested from top to bottom:
14mm Eyeco fantasy (bright green)
12mm Safrindoll (medium high dome - peacock blue)
12mm Eyeco (natural green)
10mm Eyeco (brown - I experienced some gapping)
Are these dolls still available for preorder? If so I'd love to know how much.
They are not, only 10 were made. It’s always possible for one to show up for sale on denofangels.com. It’s possible that the sculptor will release them for sale on Etsy, but we have not discussed that yet. If they do, I will post that here for everyone to know.
Dragon Age Solas bjd by Modoll on Dollits D.A.D. Body - box opening. Super yellow due to poor lighting, he's a creamy neutral yellow in person.
Update 11/07 - the Modoll Dragon Age Solas heads arrived today! I'll be sending out shipping invoices this week between work and final exams. The body pictured is Dollits D.A.D body in normal skin and it's an excellent match for size, scale, and color with and without flash. The inner eye wells are quite large but he's going to need 12mm or smaller eyes, FYI. I still need to test out more eyes. The head is exactly 22cm, I will test wigs later.
Update 11/2 Modoll has completed the casting of the Dragon Age Solas heads and they are preparing to ship!
Update 10/12/16 - 4th Revision approval
And I think we’re done! Tell me if you have further suggestions before I give Modoll the final approval. And this is the last opportunity to tell me if you want white resin instead of normal. I have 2 orders for white resin.
This is exciting and I think he looks great!
