Thunder rumbled outside like a growl as rain pelted at the window and Ansel really wasn’t so keen on storms, certainly not thunderstorms. He knew it was a bit of a childish fear but it was his. He could pull a tough act but thunder seemed to be his weakness, not that he let many people become aware of this. He almost refused to let Dax know, after all, the other’s view of him could change quickly. But when the thunder came along a bit worse, he had snatched up his phone and dialed the very familiar number.
