Le Cirque was made to impress, to awe and to leave you wanting more. The funhouse… Well it was demented in its own way; the lights bouncing off the walls, occasionally blinding Soledad if she squinted too hard, and the clowns with their evil smirks (weren’t clowns supposed to be fun?). The place was set up just like Soledad had been used to when she was younger, and she loved it.
She loved the colors and the haunting music and the thickness in the air. Was it just her that noticed it? Was it just her that smelled the taint in the air, and saw the fog?
It was getting harder to breathe, she was now gasping for air and why were the walls getting closer and closer? Soledad pushed at the walls as they kept closing in around her, and she opened her mouth to let out a blood curling scream -only to find everything back to normal.
Her heart was pounding as if she had just drank three five hour energy shots in a row and there was no denying that she was on an adrenaline high. A near death experience or her mind playing tricks on her?
One way to find out.
It didn’t take long to find another patron, Rapunzel was stumbling around but looked more confused than anything, Sol thought she must have just found her way to the fun house. “Hello” She crooned, stepping closer to the girl. “And welcome to the fun house, I’ll be your guide this evening”
