Piece 1. - Custom Tarot Card 1/5 (the Two of Genders)

This piece is the first time in a while that I would say that I have done work... Not work in the sense that I’m making money but work as in something I can be proud of. This is part of the first commission ever for someone trying to expose the connection between TERFs and the Alt-Right.

They are funny, talented, and inspiring and that fact that they would take a chance on me to create something of beauty for them is inspiring to me. I hope my art can enhance their message and help make this world a little brighter.

I find myself swinging more and more between hope and despair, understanding and conflict, contentment and misery. This work is the final in my series of images for my first commissioner the witty and talented Caelan Conrad. Working with them has been a delight and has been a source of inspiration and grounding for me.
