The blond frowned at the paper, a snort escaping his lips as he realized that some sort of help would be necessary on that translation request; Laxus feared having to resort to any mage who understood of ancient script even if his knowledge of runes were very reasonable due to the coexistence with Freed - this one always unnecessarily explained the function of each rune and it caused the mage to obtain a knowledge about that he hadn't asked for.

Although he took Raijinshu along with him on rank-s missions regularly, he did not like the fact of having to bring them along for relying on them. Even though he certainly had changed a lot since he was expelled from the guild, Laxus was still a man moved by his pride and his pride only - yet this pride was his guild and family.

And yet he had to look for the captain of Raijinshuu in order to prepare things for the mission. It did not crossed his mind that the mage could refuse his request: Freed never denied him anything and would drop anything he was doing to answer promptly to any need of the Lightning dragonslayer. 

After questioning Bixlow, he found out Freed had been in a mission with Wendy. 

Oh, nice. 

If it wasn't misfortune, Laxus didn't know what it was called. However, the man still needed someone to help him with the decipherment and he wouldn't lie and say that the thought of calling Levy to join him on that mission didn't cross his mind.

It was just another sunny day in Magnolia, although it could have been peaceful if the mages of Fairy Tail weren't being so rambunctious again. Like a few of the mages who tended to stay out of the fights, Wendy was trying to find a good quiet spot somewhere in the guild. She made her way through the broken tables and injured mages laying on the ground on top of each other like a pile of dirty clothes when she bumped into someone. She looked up and saw the resident bookworm of Fairy Tail: Levy McGarden. 

Even though she had been in the guild for nearly a year now, she still felt uncomfortable around some people, and Levy was one of them since she barely spoke to her. "H-hi, Levy-san!" Wendy managed to muster up. She gave a tiny wave.
