There are several reasons why am I attached to the Pigment bar. Write down one of them. One of the main reasons why I use the Pigment bar is directivity. Here, direct communication is not just a spontaneous expression close to drawing. Time has passed and the painting is physically and chemically different. In the modern world of conversation facing reality, there is always a time of accumulated multi-layers. The drying of paint is actually the oxidation of the oil, which I would say is dry for convenience. Dry paint means time until it is eventually dry. Therefore, if you look at the material carefully and consider how dry it is, you will be able to build one more sensible image when you see the painting. The pigment bar is almost dry within three days, and by the end of the next 30 days, a slight contraction has already begun. The sublime that change creates is intense. These changes hold the complex colors tighter on the canvas. The fine wrinkles formed by shrinking and the hard, sharp surfaces make the painting appear solid and increase its formative density. This effect can be experienced the same with liquid oil paints, but since they are dried so slowly, there is a visible contraction after three years. Adding paint again after a marked contraction is also quite an interesting way of expression. However, such experiments cannot be repeated since it takes a long time to do so in oil painting. The slow process of checking my paintings until they are sufficiently dry and stable is actually quite an important experience. First of all, it can be an opportunity for me to take more responsibility for my paintings and see new possibilities. In the future, it would always be wise to minimize the amount of restoration if possible.
