Dragon Age Inquisition - Solium Constellation
Solium
Solium is the strongest known metal in the Cyverse. It forms in the aftermath of collapsed stars, failed divine engines, and cataclysmic energy ruptures. You don’t mine it. You find it in places where nothing else survived.
It is used in weapons, armor, and tools that require absolute durability and energy stability. No other material offers the same balance of strength, efficiency, and resistance.
Once refined, Solium becomes nearly unbreakable. It holds its form under extreme pressure, channels energy without loss, and resists elemental decay. It does not evolve or bond to the user. It simply performs. That is why it remains the benchmark for top-tier equipment across reality.
Properties
Solium has resistance to thermal extremes, physical force, corrosion, and energy degradation. It can channel Vacosian Ki, Demon Ki, Divine Will, and chaotic or unstable energy fields without stress or loss. Its shape will not warp, no matter the pressure or power applied.
It is especially effective against high-tier entities. When forged properly, Solium displays natural Immortal Slayer properties, allowing it to harm or pierce targets that would normally resist death, erasure, or destruction. This effect is passive and requires no enchantment.
The alloy is stable and can be forged easily by those who understand its structure. Once purified, it doesn’t change or shift. It doesn’t adapt or respond. It doesn’t have to. Its strength is already at or past the threshold most systems can support.
From a raw performance standpoint, nothing else compares. Solium is the baseline against which armor plating, high-spec weapon cores, and relic design are judged.
Known Types
Standard Solium The base form of the alloy, refined directly from collapsed stellar cores or divine wreckage. Already stronger than any other known metal, even without enhancement. Stable, balanced, and extremely resistant to physical and energy-based damage. Used as the foundation for all other Solium variants.
Red Solium A hardened refinement of Standard Solium. Known for its high density and superior durability. Commonly used in heavy armor and shielding. It sacrifices mobility but offers unmatched defense under sustained pressure.
Blue Solium A lightweight variant formed under spatial turbulence or velocity collapse. Prioritizes speed and motion. Often used in aerial or high-mobility gear. Not as durable as heavier types, but excels in fast-paced combat.
Gold Solium A rare variant with high resistance to entropy, spiritual corrosion, and reality instability. Stable and extremely durable once forged. Common in divine constructs and anti-chaotic relics. Difficult to reshape or modify.
Black Solium Designed for modular weapon systems. Capable of storing internal configurations, energy routing, and structural forms. Frequently used in transforming gear or systems with integrated functions. High compatibility with tech-based applications.
Obsidian Solium A variant refined under collapsed gravity conditions. Noted for its extreme sharpness and edge retention. Ideal for cutting and piercing weapons. More fragile than others when exposed to wide-range kinetic force.
Brown Solium An elastic, reactive variant that combines strength and flexibility. Enables high mobility and fluid movement. Used in exosuits and adaptive armor frameworks. Offers limited direct protection but enhances maneuverability.
Cyplasium Solium A high-end refinement laced with self-repair nanostructures. Allows armor or tools to regenerate between engagements. Energy-intensive and vulnerable to signal interference. Used in long-term deployments or autonomous platforms.
Known Applications
Solium is used in elite-grade equipment, ancient relics, powered armor, and energy-conductive tools. Its durability and energy stability make it the default choice for those who can afford or recover it.
Most notably, Solium is the core material used in forging the God-Keys, also known as Divine Keys. These are twelve unique relic weapons built during the peak of Solium crafting. Each one represents a singular use-case pushed to its limit. Only twelve are known to exist across the Cyverse.
Beyond that, Solium is found in relic vaults, advanced warfare programs, and blacksite weapon development. Its presence in a system usually means a conflict worth watching—or avoiding entirely.
General Traits
Boosts durability of any equipment it’s used in
Enhances energy flow with zero loss or feedback
Compatible with all known Ki types and energy systems
Immune to elemental corrosion, entropy, and physical degradation
Maintains structural integrity under extreme stress
Responds well to advanced forging and modification
Can be alloyed into specialized Solium variants

It’s becoming most vexing to her that there are very few sand seals around, and the ones she could find were wild. Still, with a purple shield made of an unfamiliar material on her back, Riju was hoping to creep up on a sand seal she’d discovered at the beach, and is quietly making her way towards it. She thinks maybe finally she’ll be able to practice her favorite past time again when apparently the seal sees her and dives into the sand, resurfacing about 20 feet away.
She sighs, standing up and giving the offending seal a glare, even as she hears an amused chuckle from nearby. Turning to the stranger, Riju wonders if perhaps he knew how to handle these particularly difficult sand seals.
Or maybe if there was a rental location...
“Are all the seals on this island so difficult? I would hope to find a place to rent one since I don’t seem to have my own...”
There wasn't much time to mess with the item in the car — he was completely focused on other details. Frustration is long settled, but at least his base questions were answered. What this place was, where it is, although as a whole he's not sure still. The welcome was warmer than most he'd received before, but hesitance stops him for a moment before he actually enters where he's supposed to be living ( —weird. giving him housing. ) Even when he finds the room within that he's supposed to stay in, he doesn't feel like he belongs there.
Distractions don't really help him much, but he wants to get used to using the phone. It's been awhile since the last time he had a chance to mess with this kind of thing. Even when the appearance of it was different from what he'd known before. Still, it'd be better for him to try reaching out to someone.

Hello? This is out of the blue, so I'd like to apologize for that first. I know you don't know me, but I'd like to ask some questions. At least, I'm hoping you know more than I do right now.

Drang managed to stumble upon the Star Trail by sheer luck. Overwhelmed by the amount of choices, sweet and sour --- he approaches an unknowing man for suggestions. Planting himself next to the other, he begins to speak. “ hey there!~ my apologies for disturbing you, kind sir! i have an urgent matter at hand! ” With a polite and friendly greeting, he speaks to the stranger as if they’ve known eachother for some time. Drang points to a display of sweets behind the glass, from colorful candy to delicate pastries --- there’s a lot to choose from.
“ which one of these would you recommend?~ my sweet tooth can’t decide, and i’m afraid my funds are quite limited, ahaha... ” He would buy them all, considering that Sturm wasn’t there to tell him otherwise --- but his funds took quite the hit upon arriving to the city.
