Sooo I wanted to do War of Autumn stuff, but at the same time I’ll take any chance I can take to talk about this rarepair hell called SolKri that I’ve fallen into, so I’m doing both!
Who cried when they brought their child home for the first time:
Runner cried a little, but Erian was practically sobbing.
Who would wake up in the middle of the night to check on the kid(s):
Muriel! And at some point, the kid would get used to their mom poking in and standing there in the doorway eerily.
Who changes the kid(s) diapers:
They volunteered, but then instantly regretted it, and now they can’t take it back
They don’t need to do this; it’s Muriel’s biological kid, probably
Who stays up late at night to rock the kid(s) to sleep and sing them lullabys:
Erian does, because he’s got a really sweet singing voice! Sometimes, if he’s having a really rough time, Muriel will harmonize with him. Runner stands there in the corner, wishing they could sing
Who is guilty of spoiling the kid(s):
None out of the three of them, but a different couple (the main one, actually), Castor and Kiran, definitely would
Who would give the kid(s) cookies in the middle of the night:
Originally, I was going to say “Runner”, but they wouldn’t share
Actually, probably Muriel tbh
Who always takes the kid(s) side:
Erian, the sensitive, irrational mess he is
Who would wake up early to make breakfast for the kid(s) before school:
Muriel wakes up at six in the morning every morning anyways, so she could probably make all kinds of goddamn pancakes
Who gets the kid(s) ready for school in the morning:
They try to take turns, but Erian and Muriel always disagree with whatever Runner tries to put their kid in (the kid doesn’t care)
Who takes the kid(s) to school:
Erian, but if not, they’d definitely live somewhere close enough to walk
Who goes to parent teacher conferences:
Hahaha… None of them. They don’t want to. If it was that important, the teachers would just call home.
Who will be the first to suggest to have ‘the talk’ with the kid(s):
Runner would nope out the second it was brought up, and Erian would try to stutter out an answer, but Muriel, in the deadpan, no-bullshit way she has, describes to their child in explicit detail what sex is.
Who would choose their child(s) prom outfit:
Erian fought Muriel for the title, but the kid changed into Muriel’s outfit when they got to school, then changed back before Runner came to pick them up
Who would cry when the kid(s) go off to college:
The three of them tbh, but Erian cried the most
Who cried when they brought their child home for the first time:
They have no idea how to take care of a child.
Who would wake up in the middle of the night to check on the kid(s):
Sollux is probably still awake late into the night, so if he hears anything suspicious, he checks
Who changes the kid(s) diapers:
Whoever didn’t do it last time. Sometimes they make one of the Maryams do it, if they’re around
Well, since you can’t let Kankri near the kitchen, it’s gotta be Sollux
Who stays up late at night to rock the kid(s) to sleep and sing them lullabys:
Neither of them can sing, but Kankri is generally better at children than Sollux
Who is guilty of spoiling the kid(s):
Who would give the kid(s) cookies in the middle of the night:
Who always takes the kid(s) side:
Depends on the situation, but it’s usually Kankri (his natural need to rebel rules over most topics, and he likes arguing, but Sollux usually wins these ones)
Who would wake up early to make breakfast for the kid(s) before school:
Kankri, since Sollux stays up way too late every night
Who gets the kid(s) ready for school in the morning:
Who takes the kid(s) to school:
The bus; Sollux and Kankri would live somewhere more remote
Who goes to parent teacher conferences:
Sollux, actually. He stays in so much that sometimes he needs to be reminded that there is, indeed, a world outside of the house, and the Chinese delivery place
Who will be the first to suggest to have ‘the talk’ with the kid(s):
(But Kankri explains the differences between genders, sexualities and identities as a whole, assuming he hasn’t raised their kid on that knowledge already)
Who would choose their child(s) prom outfit:
The Maryams; neither of them care what the kid wears to prom, and the kid probably doesn’t even want to go
Who would cry when the kid(s) go off to college:
Both of them. But only after the kid leaves, and that lasts like ten minutes before they go, “Well, what the shit do we do with our lives now?”
