I had to get my mole removed last May and the cancer is gone!

That's wonderful! I'm so happy for you, love!

A couple of years ago I had to get an inflammation removed (well, removed isn't the word, there was a fancy sciency word for it, but whatever) without anesthesia or any kind of painkiller. Basically, the surgeon stabbed me in various places with a scalpel while I swore loudly and tried not to cry. Fun times, man.
