as an aside, I’m not about to trash Solo bc I’m sick of people trashing things. Being an anti is stupid and exhausting for everyone who isn’t in the self-congratulatory anti-circle. If you ask my opinion directly, I’ll offer it, but otherwise, expect nothing but some positive thoughts and silence from me. Art can and should be criticised, but tumblr isn’t the place, and I’m sick of outright hatred. AND, like all art, there are some positive aspects I can choose to dwell on instead!! So Novel!
It’s not that I want a Harrison Ford impression, I just want someone who FEELS like Han Solo. Like Donald Glover feels like Lando, please don’t misunderstand. To be frank though I feel like this shouldn’t have been a film but instread a comic or book it just doesn’t feel right to me. But I’m still going to watch the film and hope it can change my mind. I have no intention to hate on this film. But please don’t be one of those people who assumes it’s “hate” because you don’t instantly love it and show some hesitations and worry. Saw that a lot on twitter today.
For those who care enough..
This coming spring semester will be my last semester as an undergraduate. It's been a LONG 5 years, yes 5 years instead of 4 cuz I partied all my freshman year, but I have finally made it. I'm finally bout to graduate. On May 7, 2016 I will be the 1st make in my family on both sides to graduate college with a bachelors degree. I don't say much bout it because it's so surreal n I know the closer we get to that date the more emotional it will be. I loved my experience at my HBCU, Voorhees College, and I love the people I have met while I attended this great institution. I know life after college will not be a cake walk but with the education n knowledge I received here I know I'll be prepared to take on any n all obstacles that will arise as I continue on my road to success. I just wanted to share my thoughts with those who care tonight. Thanks
