Hi shinysherlock! We don’t know each other, but I’m TheSoupDragon on AO3, and souper-doup (also ceceliajupe) on here. In 2014 you posted a prompt on AO3 which gave the challenge of writing a fic based on one of the song titles from Peter Gabriel’s album “So”...I started a fic based on your prompt back then and I have just finished it! Okay, so the sad story with this one is that I am super-happy with my outline, in a kind of a "there is no way tot convert this into an actual fic without messing it up" kind of way. But it's a songfic for shinysherlock's solock challenge, and the summary is "nobody gets as much of Sherlock Holmes as they want."

“Iwanted to thank him,” she said.  “He wasfun, once he loosened up a bit.”  

“Who,Sherlock?” John’s tone is elaborately offhanded.  “I think he left early.”

Janine thinksabout what Mary told her, after Sherlock came back from the dead, her smile andher wistful shrug: “looks like my little problem isn’t going away after all.”  She looks over at John, tearing into hispancakes like they’re the only thing in the world.  

“MaybeI’ll drop in on him,” she says.

“Allright.” John takes an enormous swallow of tea that almost sets him coughing.  “Yeah, that’d be nice.”

“Somebodyshould,” says Mary, setting down next to John.
