MY IF MCs: The Celestial Squad

I have been so interested in interactive fics lately, I had to limit myself from making too many MCs! So here are the four major ones, the templates I use in each IF, sort of as alternate universe versions of each other, if you will. Sol Kingston, Codename “Sidestep” “Anathema” Baldur, his Puppet

“All that I want is what I deserve... I never had anything, and now... now, I want everything.”

From @fallenhero-rebirth‘s IF series Fallen Hero. Sol Kingston used to be Sidestep, a long time ago. Now he is back in full force as the supervillain Anathema. He was traumatized during the Heartbreak incident, and overcome with the hunger for all the things he had been missing out on. Now he is returned as Anathema, to gather all the things for himself which he desires.

Sol as Anathema becomes a thief, stealing art, jewels, and valuables in order to get all the things he wants. They say money can’t buy happiness, but it can make happiness much easier to obtain. His suit is a mysterious one, with a cape, and outfitted for armor and telepathy. Daring and arrogant, Anathema desires recognition as well as material gain - he wants attention. His henchman is Boris, who he’s surprisingly flirty with. He robbed the museum, and he struggles with not knowing exactly how far he’s willing to go for his goals.

Sol definitely loves Ortega, and desires to be with him once more. The only things holding him back are his love for Charge, and the burgeoning attraction to Chen, Marshall Steel. He sees his Puppet, Baldur, as nothing more than an empty shell, although he does seduce Dr. Mortum with the handsome man.

Other Universes The Wayhaven Chronicles: Det. Kingston stays on the right side of the law, but is still a bit selfish. However, the Detective finds it much easier to become a person who does things for others, and remains professional, unlike the bombastic villain.

Mind Blind: Solomon Wiseman is much more confident, rule-abiding, and well-adjusted than Sol. He also finds it easier to get over old crushes, and he doesn’t mind much about his circumstances.

Okay, so I have one vote for the Adam route and one for the Mason route. Anyone else want to put in their ideas for which one Sol should go with?

If it helps, I’m in the process of forming my detective who will take the other route: Jesse Malkin, former wild child with a goofy streak who currently follows the rules and is a creative problem solver/pacifist - think knowledge/tech, finger guns at people, and is a giant himbo. face claimed by Chris Hemsworth... does that influence your decision at all?

Anybody that follows me like The Wayhaven Chronicles? I currently have a Detective for the Nate, Adam, Love Triangle, and Felix routes, but due to OC restructuring, I now have my Adam Detective, Solomon Kingston pulling double duty as my Detective for the Mason route as well. I’m thinking of making a new OC so I can have one dedicated to each route. 

My question is, should I have Sol follow the Adam route or the Mason route, or should I go ahead and use him for both in an alternate universe kinda way? You can find his bio here or check out the tag to see more about him.

I'm thinking about Dual Detective aus for my Wayhaven MCs... but pairing up whom?

We got Mason "Em" Wiseman (friendly but fearful, loves Nate), Rhys Balfour (noble but intimidating, love triangle), Solomon "Sol" Kingston (cheerful but selfish, paired to Adam or Mason), and James Becker (sassy but professional, loves Felix).

Hmmm... any ideas? Questions?

Re: OC Kingston route- Hm... based on a casual perusal of the tag (obv if I’ve got him wrong, I apologize), I’d say that Solomon doing the Adam route would have some interesting interactions! With some aspects being near-opposite each other (Solomon’s cheerfulness v. Adam’s seriousness, personable v. standoffish, absolute duty v. slightly selfish habits, etc.), I think that makes for a fascinating story! Hope I’ve explained that right. 😉

Oh, absolutely! Part of the reason I paired Sol and Adam is because of their seemingly-opposite natures. Sol is cheery and a little selfish and wants to be happy in life while Adam is all about stoicism and self-control and self-sacrifice. I guess part of it is Sol wearing Adam down with smiles and softness and the occasional burst of selflessness (”All I wanted was free cheese pastries; you’re having a bad influence on me, Agent du Mortain...”) and Adam learning to allow himself to be happy while teaching Sol how to take things seriously.

Anyone else want to chime in? Does the Adam route with the happy guy and serious guy pine for each other make more sense, or should he take the Mason route where the bright fun-loving dude and the broody fun-loving dude slowly develop into a relationship?

Tell me all about Sol please!!

Sol Kingston never really wanted to be detective, but rather enjoys the perks of the job, especially since he can often get free cheese pastries from Haley’s Bakery, and his daily job consisted of solving neighborly arguments and not much else, but he really steps up now that something has actually happened in Wayhaven. He’s mostly people focused with some technology in there. 

He really respects Adam’s opinion and falls for him quickly, boldly flirting and enjoying the reactions he gets. Despite being a tease, he’s good at his job and earns Adam’s respect in return and the friendship of Felix Hauville.

He’s not really that close with Rebecca, but not distant. They’re more on the acquaintances scale than mother and son. He dresses stylishly, and usually wears his long hair back. His apartment is a vintage style and he really likes to bake, making it seem like even more of a grandma’s house.

The presence of the supernatural makes him confused, but he’s determined to maintain his easygoing grace and charm even with this new world he’s entering into.
