WOW. Yeah I noticed in the photo caption the tablet shown as being from Iraq. It’s um...a very fucked up situation I imagine. I suppose it’s a little more leveling to understand that these aren’t just some random or abstract relics/artifacts but actual pieces of a people’s history. And that it’s an intentional effort to destroy that history. I’m sorry, that’s terrible.
