Earlier this year, I stepped out of my comfort zone and took a solo storytelling class. I developed a piece in class with my teacher, Zahra Noorbakhsh (@zahracomedy ), which I performed at the class showcase. I will also now be presenting it as part of Solo Sundays at Stage Werx this Sunday, August 13th at 7pm. Solo Sundays is a regular event at Stage Werx and I'm honored to be included with this Sunday's lineup as it'll be me and three others (who are actually seasoned performers). I'm not going to lie, the thought of performing makes me queasy, even though I have done this piece before!
