//I thought I was prepared for change. I was under the impression that I could handle whatever would come my way. God really likes reminding me that if I'm not forever leaning into Him, my whole world will come crashing down. "Been talkin 'bout the way things change" and it's exciting and scary and life changing. There's definitely things I miss, no doubt. I miss the ministries I was involved in and I miss my church. "My family lives in a different state", a few actually, and I miss them too. But my, oh, my, how grateful am I for the family I have gained. The people here and the community I'm immersed in has changed my heart. The 28 strangers I moved in with on August 27th are the strangest, loveliest people I've ever grown to love. "And if you don't know what to make of this", this move, this change, this decision, this monumental adventure God has decided to use me for, "then we will not relate." This discipleship school and internship in City Impact is teaching me a million and one things about the God I serve and showing me a million and two ways to love the people He called me to be Jesus to. #riversandroads #twoweeksin #clockinginsocialhours #som16
