Ok so I am going to finish off my little 'Electronic Ireland' run of posts with the new video from Irish electronica veteran Somadrone. Neil O'Connor has been releasing music under this guise since the late nineties / early noughties. I think I first got introduced to his music on the 2005 double album 'Fuzzing Away To A Whisper' but for some reason have missed out on more recent releases.

Well based on new brooding new track 'Bests' my lack of attention has been highly negligent and I need to check out his new album 'The First Wave' which is out today in physical form on Bodytonic Music and in digital formats on 18th November. O'Connor has been working on the album since 2010 in San Franciso and Brooklyn but is going to launch it to his home audience with a gig in the Grand Social on 30th November.
