It’s my birthday! And this ridiculous box of beads just arrived in the mail! It isn’t even technically a birthday present, but rather a friend of a friend was destashing and that WONDERFUL friend thought of me and let me claim what I wanted. I was ever so excited when my new storage arrived yesterday. Up until now my seed beads have been kept in a box (a very nice box mind you!) which is extremely impractical when I'm trying to find particular colours because they're ALWAYS at the bottom. So I ordered storage which is perfect - it even slots magically together so I can add to it if needed. Today I got all my beads out and sorted them in colour groups. Why I need ten shades of green is anyone's guess but you apparently can't have enough of it. Or pink or red. I was feeling like I was the most organised person ever as I started allocating beads to drawers and admiring how amazingly tidy it all looked..... then I realised very quickly that I'd underestimated just how many beads I have. For seed beads alone, I'm 26 drawers short. 26! And that's not even counting all the Swarovski, gemstone, murano, and other glass beads I have. My name is Clair and I have a bead addiction!
