Some art trades with some students. Their 9 weeks test was to do an art trade with someone in the room and it was a secret as to who was trading with who. I joined in for fun and had a blast drawing these really random things - A big blue whale, a pineapple (THE HARDEST ONE!), A Horse on a field with a barn and a sheep dog chasing sheep, and then Spirit and Rain touching noses. 

All are watercolor except for the pineapple… that is marker. (Mixed with water for a watercolor effect)

Ok, I figured I will end the horse photos with a bang I wish I could say this guy was doing tricks... but he was really misbehaving. But he looks so COOL!!! Not going to lie... Such an amazing tradition to get to see. I know I said it before, but I will say it again - This was my favorite thing I have done in Germany. It is so amazing how Germans hold on to tradition and continue to celebrate. Everyone comes out and there are things going on all the time. From kirwa to things like this - there is always something to celebrate and come together as a community. I think this will be the hardest part about moving back to the US. I have gotten used to this idea of community and celebration!
