18: Most traumatic experience
Well I had a childhood with lots of traumas but they are better hidden so I’ll tell about something lighter but terrifying nonetheless. First time I went to England I went to Oxford and when booking my hotel here in Brazil I asked for one in the city of Oxford but the lady picked one in Oxfordshire and it was an amazing castle BUT it was located in the middle of nowhere, 1 hour from the city and to get there you had to pass through a forest because the bus just leave you in the highway... but I had no idea in what direction the hotel was because there were no buildings near the highway just a sign with the name of the hotel. It was dark, raining and I started to cry because I didn’t know what to do for being lost in a highway in another country. 5 minutes of pure despair until a car entered where the sign was and lit the way so I could see a path. I didn’t know if it was the path to the hotel but it was the only clue I had so I went forth through the terrifying forest. After 20 minutes walking I saw the light of the hotel. I was so scared that when I got to my room I called my friend in Brazil and told him I wanted go home the next day and he had to find me a flight but then he calmed down. The day I went to the city of Oxford it was another nightmare (but that is another story) and from the one week I thought I would have to wander in Oxford I had just ONE DAY because I was too scared to leave the hotel. But it was worthy. The time I spent with Tolkien in the cemetery alone was enough to pay for all the fear and despair.

I don’t know my brother but I call the cousins who grew up with me sisters so... we’re okay now but we fought a lot when we were younger.
