I have to admit, I'm enjoying the Catch Up Chronicle as much for what you STILL don't know as for the new perspective on things.
This is the ideal outcome!

Just catching up on your SPOP liveblog and saw a question that hasn't been answered yet: Micah's able to use magic after years on Beast Island because he's not actually connected to the Moonstone, he's a sorcerer like Castaspella and Light Spinner/Shadow Weaver.
Oh! That makes a lot of sense. Thanks for the info!
I can't speak for everyone, but I sure do read fic for shows that are finished. She-Ra is actually the first show I've gotten into while it was still ongoing.
That’s good to know! <3
A few things: 1) My personal opinion is that given the way the Road to the Pillar works, it actually makes more sense than the Proof of the Pillar used by the anime. But you won't get to see that for a while. 2) A more accurate translation of what Ferio's saying in point 105 would be that Clef is worried that those who can make a Road from another country have the potential to become the Pillar. 3) You've given me yet another misconception to giggle over.
For point 1, I totally agree. Once I'd thought about it, the whole road to the Pillar thing makes a lot more sense than the circlet thing. As to point 2, that translation make more sense. And I understand that Clef is worried about an outsider being Pillar, but if no one in Cephiro can find the road, why shouldn't someone from another country become Pillar. Better that than Cephiro crumbling to pieces; this is probably my bias speaking, and even though he doesn't deserve it, Eagle would be a great Pillar. Point 3, oh no I don't even want to know, lol.

The hardest part to write…hm, it took me the longest to get back to writing right after Amy was shot off Queen Industries mostly bc I wasn’t sure where I wanted the story to go. I just happened to be watching LoK at the time and decided that it would be interesting to see Amy struggle with learning to walk again :)
Life's been rather shitty and stressful for me recently and my birthday is coming up. Do you have any (mostly) light-hearted snippets you could post? (My preference is for the Jedi Reformation AU, but Anabasis is fine, too.)
I’m sorry life is hard, friend, and I hope that your birthday will be relaxing and rejuvenating!
The Reformation AU is probably my most light-hearted AU, so finding a bit was easy. :)
Here, have some rebellious Jedi kids throwing a ~secret dance party~.
Aloo can’t stop thinking about the woman she didn’t quitesee in her meditation. She can’t stop thinking about Anakin’s stories, either, the ones he tells about his mother. Sometimes the masters say that the bondbetween a master and padawan is almost like a parent-child bond, but Anakin’sstories don’t sound anything like that. The way he talks about his motheris…warm. He uses words like love and pride, and he talks about his mother likeshe’s his best friend, too.
Aloo’s closest friend is Ahsoka, though of course she getsalong with everyone in her youngling group. But she and Ahsoka like all thesame jokes, and they’re the two best duelists in their class, and neither ofthem really likes meditation much. And they still like to practice Anakin’sTatooine dances together, even after Miik loses interest and stops coming.
Once, when they’re ten years old, they’re slipping quietlythrough the halls toward the central conservatory and checking every fewminutes to be sure there are no masters around, because they’re supposed to bein free meditation right now. They’ve almost made it to the conservatory whenAhsoka hisses a warning and drags Aloo behind a pillar. They wait, hardlydaring to breathe, as a set of footsteps approaches, hesitates for a moment, and then moves on again. Aloo looks at Ahsoka and offers a shaky smile. Ahsoka, always daring, grins back at her and peeks her head around the pillar.
And then, to Aloo’s shock, she steps boldly out.
I recently noticed your notification on AO3 that your Hunters Verse is going to remain unfinished. Would you please tell me how you had planned for it to end?
You know what?
Let’s just make this public. I guess I owe the handful of people who still care about this universe an answer.
Regarding the Dragon Lady stereotype: It doesn't apply to your character. You defined it pretty well in your first tag on that post. You might want to check out the TV Tropes page for it, since it has some useful clarifications about it
:) thanks!
