I have a fic idea, possibly will only be a oneshot, based on my Prince of Nightmares AU (an AU where Pitch accidentally adopts Jack)

Basically, the fic will be about Pitch dating Sombra, and Jack does NOT trust his dad's new bf lol

Ok so- How and why these two?

How I started shipping them:

I was bored and waiting in the car for my dad to complete taxes or something, so I wanted a new ship. I mentally flipped through several characters in my brain to see if any of them would "click", and I happened to think of these two at the same time. It stopped being a crackship within the hour LMAO

Why you should consider shipping them:

They are very similar. Both hide/travel in the shadows, both have been forced into hiding for about a millennium (down to even celestial bodies being the ones to banish them!), both thrive on fear, and both of them are willing to do some pretty awful things to get what they want. It'd be pretty difficult to find a couple MORE similar to each other than them!

"But Bonnie!" I hear you asking, "One of them is a Pony owned by Hasbro, and the other is a Human Spirit owned by DreamWorks! How could this possibly work in fanfiction?" Well my friend, (Teamwork makes the dream work) My Little Pony already has your solution: Mirror portals!

You can do what I did, and have the mirror portal connect to the magic globes, with you needing to think of where you want to appear out of (even just the vague concept is enough, since there's only 2-3 known magic globes), or you could do what Equestria Girls did and find a location to place a responding statue/mirror. You can also choose how the mirror translates them, go full canon and make them human on the other side, or do what I did and make them mostly human with pony features (wings, horns, hooves/talons for feet, etc.)

Overall, just have fun! I'm not too picky, usually in general but especially with my rarest pairs, like this one-

I have a cute idea for Sombitch (King Sombra x Pitch Black) that makes me go insane every time I think about it without fail

Sombra has those weird arm brace things, right? What if he gave one of them to Pitch and they basically treat them like their version of wedding rings? What if Sombra gave the arm brace thing to Pitch while basically saying wedding vows-
