El Sombrerón is a boogeyman-like figure from the folklore of Mexico and Guatemala. Said to resemble a short man clad in black with a large black sombrero. He is sometimes accompanied by mules.

Fond of mischief, El Sombrerón likes to plait the tails and manes of horses. If he cannot find a horse, he will instead braid the hair of dogs. He is also said to court attractive young ladies with long hair. He will braid her hair and serenade her with a sivler guitar. As long as she is the subject of El Sombrerón's affections, she will not be able to eat or sleep.

Type: Dark/Fairy Egg Group: Fairy Ciguapo (Boogyman Pokemon) are often the topic of tall tales and folklore in the Qamor region, being known as mischief makers and symbols of misfortune. These small hairballs rarely come out during the day and are very evasive in direct sunlight, the tuft of hair on top of their head act as protection against the sun as a sort of hat. Ciguapo are actually quite timid towards humans and prefer to remain hidden, however they bond quickly with woman and feminine trainers oddly enough. They especially love to play with trainers with long hair, and they appear to have an eye for women's hairstyles and fashion it seems.

Sombruja (Braided Pokemon) Are as mysterious as they are beautiful. This Pokemon is characterized by its long, braided hair that it often used as weapon to whip opponents and prey. Although considered top predators with an immense skill for stealthy kills, these Pokemon are actually incredibly timid yet curious, they often silently follow trainers traversing through their jungle homes, careful not to alarm suspicion. They are difficult pokemon to track due to their confusing foot prints and movement patterns, but you'll know a ciguapo has taken interest in you when you hear their mysterious chirping from an indistinct direction behind the trees.
