Sombra x Zarya, romantic relationship! 💜

I'm doing an Overwatch ask game! Send me a ship (platonic, romantic or otherwise) and I'll return some funky hcs!

Romantic Sombrya Hcs

Sombra will do anything for attention and Zarya finds it begrudgingly adorable. Zar will usually roll her eyes and berate her but Sombra really doesn't care

It's hard for Sombra to get a rise out of Zarya because she's pretty much shameless. Blackmail barely ever works and threatening her with information doesn't do much. It's infuriating, and the best challenge Sombra has ever had

Zarya flusters Sombra easily when she compliments her, or uses pet names. She says it so matter of factly- it doesn't even sound like she's teasing, and its the genuine sentiment that catches Sombra off guard.

Sombra flirts religiously. All. The. Time. Again, it doesn't bother Zarya, but at some point it goes from infuriating to amusing and Zarya doesn't really understand why.

Sombra likes it when Zarya carries her. Zarya is happy to do so.

I like to think that the only time they really go on "dates" is when Zarya has captured Sombra and they're on the way to a means of containing her. They go for ice cream, or walks. It doesn't really matter that Sombra is cuffed- it's not like it's stopping her from being a smartass.

I think they would keep the relationship kinda implied for a while, until at some point Zarya very openly calls Sombra her girlfriend. They don't really discuss it, but its at that point that both of them realise that oh, yeah, yeah we're definitely an item.

Sombra sends Zarya reminders and help on her missions. At first it's taken as offence ("You think I cannot handle myself? Do you think that I am weak?") but eventually she understands that it's one of the few ways Sombra can show that she cares, without causing problems for either of them

They would both be very affectionate with each other. Hugs and cuddles and kisses all around. Neither are shy about being seen in public- and who's going to judge them?

Because the OW2 drop has me all nostalgic, this morning I remembered this sketch I liked but never posted because I always meant to do something with it. But that was at the beginning of 2019 and I never did, so here it is, while the OG designs are still relevant for a couple hours lol.

I understand most of my Overwatch ships are/were crack, but I still believe strongly that Zarya/Sombra is the most slept on of them all. Okay, have a wonderful day.
