⟡ ۫ . 🧁 — lovey loves to feed her parents but her target is always michael. feeding him grapes, popcorn, and whatever miscellaneous foods are on her plate. overtime with the help of his daughter she’s unknowingly helped michael develop better eating habits.

she loves to sometimes feed his spoonfuls of her food as well, she’s got a messy spoon of ravioli headed right towards michael and his eyes widen at the amount, “that’s a lot baby girl!” however, his daughter doesn’t care about the complaint in size while she patiently waits for him to open up.

“‘s’not a lot right?” and now her wide eyes are looking up at you for confirmation. and you’re sneakily able to redirect her, “can you even eat that much lovey?”

and of course she has to prove herself, instantly shoveling the food down herself. saving michael while simultaneously getting her to finish her food.

⟡ ۫ . 🧁 — somehow between you and lovey, you’ve convinced michael to get a little pomeranian puppy and he’s not the biggest fan of the dog, but the puppy is so naturally drawn to him. and lovey is dressing it up in princess headbands and tutus amd he’s constantly got a hand on his hip, shaking his head at his daughters antics.

as much as he claims to “dislike” the dog, it’s your turn to catch michael on camera and it’s lovey curled up in his lap, her drool pooling a spot on his button up, and your new puppy nuzzled beneath his arm while they all snooze away

the  studio's  bathed  in  the  full  ,  sweltering  splendor  of  an  early  august  midday—  full  face  of  the  sun  pressing  against  dust  streaked  ,  high  windows.  warped  floorboards  soak  up  the  warmth  ,  almost  too  hot  to  walk  on  them  barefoot.  not  that  it  bothers  murdoc  much  ,  languishing  in  his  most  natural  form:  underwear  and  a  bass  slung  over  his  shoulder.  strange  ,  then  ,  to  feel  a  little  out  of  place  in  the  very  space  he's  only  ever  truly  felt  himself  in.  there's  that  hypocritical  belief  he's  always  held  that  mixing  personal  biz  with  actual  biz  is  never  a  good  idea  ,  when  he's  only  ever  done  everything  but.  but  here  she  is  ,  perched  on  a  stool  with  one  of  his  babies  balanced  on  her  knee.

and  he  feels  a  little  dumb  ,  idly  scratching  beneath  the  waistband  of  his  briefs  and  admiring  how  the  light  filters  through  her  messy  updo.  or  how  she  smiles  as  her  fingers  idly  press  along  the  fretboard.  y'know  ,  all  the  things  he  used  to  barf  at.  he  still  feels  a  little  sick  to  the  stomach  ,  clocking  his  own  behavior.  satan  ...

still  he  ambles  over  like  a  loyal  old  dog  ,  setting  his  own  instrument  aside  and  adjusting  the  position  of  her  wrist.  ❝  like  so...  see?  ❞  his  scratchy  voice  still  rings  soft  between  them  ,  eyes  hidden  'neath  the  swath  of  his  hair  ,  curling  with  humidity.  ❝  'n  then  you  go  like  so.  yeah  ,  here—  ❞  his  fingers  cover  hers  ,  following  the  tab  she's  been  trying  to  replicate.  in  all  honesty  he's  snatched  up  terms  here  and  there  ,  working  with  other  artists—  but  where  2D  is  able  to  be  perfectly  technical  when  they  can  arsed  to  be  ,  murdoc  still  only  plays  by  ear  ,  almost  entirely  unable  to  read  notes.  never  bothered  him.  ...  not  really.  the  results  speak  for  themselves.
