Hopefully you'll find something you like! Alten's books are adult fiction, but filled with heavy marine science.

The ocean is a terrifying place, I don’t know if reading that before bed or something would be good.  I’m prone to nightmares anyway, I don’t want it to turn into a drowning scenario or something like that.

Thank you for your recommendation, though!  In return, I recommend Stiff by Mary Roach.  I mentioned her before, but it doesn’t read like a non-fiction book.  It’s funny, too!

I mostly read YA thrillers, so I don't know if you would be interested in the same kind of things as I am. I read a really interesting trilogy series called 'I Hunt Killers' recently by Barry Lyga, and it was REALLY dark and interesting. I also recommend The Loch and the Meg series by Steve Alten if you're into a different take on the Loch Ness Monster or the idea of Megalodon sharks still existing. Those are just a few things in my personal collection.

I’m willing to try reading anything once!  I might like it.  I’ll take a look into the first series, and the second one sounds pretty interesting, too!  typically i don’t like YA novels, since my teen years were...  rocky to say the least.
