I don’t even need the excuse to say something nice about my writing because I think my writing is actually awesome and perfect all of the time always so.

🕯️- was there a fic that was really hard on you to write, or took you to a place you didn’t think it would take you?

Probably either my Sleepless Nights series or my trans Joe omegaverse. For the former, I wasn’t entirely aware that I was using those fics as an avenue to work through some grief I was still processing and I was surprised to find myself more at peace when I finished. For the latter, I didn’t expect to ever write omegaverse lmao. And also any self exploration I do through my writing can sometimes be a lot to handle, and most especially that exploration of my feelings around gender was an interesting turn for me.

Lmao I have many WIPs that may never be finished and absolutely nothing up-and-coming bc all I’m doing right now is wandering aimlessly through all of my fandoms wearing a giant target and waiting for the muse to strike me down. I don’t even care which fandom it is. Just. Please. But if I ever do find some inspiration, I actually found some old notes from something I thought up years ago that might have some interesting character work that would be fun to dig into.

What’s the softest scene you’ve ever written?

Oh this is not a good answer…

It is possibly something from way back when I managed to finish something during my Inception days and it is also possibly the Nile & Andy scenes or Nile & Quynh scene from my Sleepless Nights series and it is also possibly something that may never see the light of day because I have chronic starts-and-never-finishes disease. I have very little ability to gauge softness of things on a relative scale and also I cannot choose between my children whom I love equally except maybe Nile & Quynh just a little bit more.

Mmm...

So I meant to write a little extra chapter to Exposed for What it Is but never got around to it. It was essentially Striker giving Stolas an old textbook about imp anatomy that was no longer produced - later copies of the same textbook had edited out entire portions about submissives.

So included in it were things like how a submissive could fend off a dominant trying to take advantage of a forced bond, how to prevent pregnancy, surviving a rejected mark, etc. Things that has helped him throughout his life.

When Stolas asked why he was giving it to him, Striker tells him that it'll help fill in gaps of what Stolas knows about imps and their breeding system, and it might help with Stolas and Blitz's current fertility issues.

He also suggests that their might be some things in there that they could team up on just to drive Blitz crazy.

Stolas accepts it gleefully.
