all night long
18. Contemplating the universe.
Campbell stared up at the clear night sky. “Can you name ‘em all? The stars, I mean.” It didn’t get dark enough to see the stars in the city, but out here, he felt like he could see the entire universe.

// Answering this from yesterday because I ended up going into work before I could.
When there are constant posts about how nobody wants to rp or how nobody cares, or always wanting to delete. Or separate posts about how nobody ever sends memes and such. It is an attention seeking thing that bugs the crap out of me. Everyone gets insecure sometimes about if they are good or not. Everyone sometimes feels like nobody wants them there. I get like that too. You just never see it because I don't post those things. I talk to friends privately if I want some help feeling better.
It doesn't bother me if you post tons of opens or tons of memes. Or if you post those "like this for a starter" things all the time. That's always fine if you want something to do and you are trying to get something to do. But constantly complaining about how you never have anything to do and nobody wants to RP with you or that nobody cares in ooc posts makes me want to avoid you in the first place. Because most likely if you need that much attention to be able to RP. I probably won't be able to give it to you anyway.
General ooc posts don't bother me. But if 90% of them are you complaining about how you are unneeded or unwanted. Or how nobody wants to RP with you. I probably stay away. Because if I RP with you. You are wanted and I enjoy you. And when I see posts like that, I want to run because I don't see why I should bother if you are going to act like I'm not here. Because when someone I RP with posts, "Nobody wants to RP with me and nobody likes me." You are calling me a nobody.
"Space! Space! Wanna go to space?!"
Campbell grinned, imagining spaceships and aliens and other planets. “Well, yeah! There’s so much out there, so many things to see, I’d love to go, if I could.” He paused, eyeing Crystal, and seemed to remember that she was an alien. “Why? Are you offerin’ to take me?”
A "Fated" Game of Paintball || sometimes-forgotten
He was sure their team wanted to get rid of both of them.
They would've done it already, except they worked so well together once you put paintball guns in their hands.
It had started up again on the way to the field. Campbell and Crystal were arguing over something stupid - Campbell didn't even remember what it was about in the first place, because they had gone off topic so many times. "Oh yeah? Well, red paintballs look more realistic when they splatter," he said.
"Sorry, I thought you were somebody else."
"That’s alright," said Campbell, grinning at her. He stuck out his hand. "I’m Campbell Bain."
