life update: I moved into my new apartment on Thursday I’ve been trying to unpack and clean and get settled meanwhile ive got two exams this week and I’m a mess hopefully studyblr will help me keep on track I’m extra nervous bc I hate economics and everything to do with it and I’m a wreck lowkey.
side note: what do people do to deal w anxiety while in an exam bc I’ve been getting it real bad lately???
03.04.17// with two days until this economics exam I realized I need to put my laptop and tablet in my room so I can focus. oh and I'm back on this studyblr lol
1/100 days of productivity getting started with planning my next two weeks, and reading up before one of my classes tomorrow.
first day of uni tomorrow :)
so i’ll be back on here regularly and I think I’m gonna start the 100 days of productivity tag too just to start off right
losing motivation academically
so I’ve been really on and off with my studyblr and I thought I should make this post before going into the next academic school year. So, I graduated high school in 2015 and last year started my first year of law school. I moved into my own apartment 4 hours away from home, got my first job, was meeting new people and balancing and juggling all that with a 42 contact hour week at uni.
I was so motivated at first, studying my ass off and was loving the materials and what we were studying. But what I noticed after a while (the uni that I go to has a system where you’re graded purely on your exams and you have exams every 7 weeks) I was covering everything to be tested on an exam that had 2 or 3 questions.
I was doing really well in all my course work, passing all the assignments easily. However, the exams weren’t going as well and I didn’t understand why because it was the same materials????? After a while I started to lose motivation because I kept working my ass off and not getting the results that I expected.
Then I had to make the decesion whether or not this was for me, and based on some of the courses that I’d been doing in law school (I was studying European Law) I decided that maybe this program wasn’t for me, so in September I’m going to be starting European Studies.
I guess the point of this post is kind of an explanation as to why I haven’t been posting on this blog as regularly as I’d previously done and I just thought I should post this now seeing as I have my introduction day for my new course on Monday.
I most definately aim to update on here regularly and to stay motivated-- so I’ll also be using this blog to motivate me to stay healthy and stick to schedules and bullet journal and stuff like that.
