Si-eun sat on the bench facing the boys play basketball. He wasn't truly paying attention to what they were up to but rather he was checking his phone to see if.. He... Had texted back. So much to his dismay, his phone was empty.
He sat there, contemplating about life as that was what he was truly best at (other than his academics, of course). Baku took sneaky glances at his new companion every so often just to check if he's alright.
Baku let out a deep sigh but played on, Si-eun could handle his thoughts? Right? But maybe it wouldn't hurt to have a friend.
Baku threw the ball towards Hyun-tak.
"You two play, I wanna see what's up with si eun"
Hyun-tak hummed in respond with a quick nod and quickly started a new game with jun-tae.
Baku slowly walked over to si eun as if he were a cat that would escape immediately if Baku took the wrong step. However, si eun just slowly looked up and watched Baku come over.
Baku couldn't tell if he were inviting him to sit or telling him to fuck off. He really hoped it wasn't the latter when he sat down right beside si eun.
Si eun didn't complain or anything, just looked away from Baku.
"Hey dude, I noticed that you're a bit... Off.. I really don't want to bother you but-"
"Then don't."
Si eun replied flatly. He knew Baku felt pity on him but what could he do? Apologize for something that wasn't in control?
"Don't be like that.. I just want to see how you are.. Yknow, as friends!" Baku cheerfully got back into his smiley character and nudged si eun
Si eun sighed deeply and looked at Baku with dead eyes. "Friends? Really?" He replied with a dry tone, showing he couldn't believe such a thing could be possible
"Yes! Like we have sooooo much in common!! Like-"
Si eun had to endure the long talks of Baku for an hour... He had zoned out for half an hour of it but was quickly snapped out of it when Baku held onto his side ever so slightly to grab something.
Si eun flinched but quickly regained his composer praying Baku wouldn't clock what just happened. Unfortunately for him, Baku is very aware of his surroundings.
"Ah shit- sorry dude I had to balance my self-"
"It's fine just don't do it again."
Si eun murmured as he fixed his blazer slightly. He looked away from Baku meaning he couldn't see the grin forming on his face.
"You really thought I didn't see that?"
"What.." Si eun snapped his head back towards Baku, hoping he didn't mean what he thought he meant.
"You may be smart but God... You're a terrible liar."
Baku slowly crept towards si eun making si eun stand up. Baku stood up with him and they locked eyes for just a split second.
Ok be smart si eun... You can't run whatsoever.. Especially not the dude who lives and breathes sport. But what other choice did he have? Fight the guy?
Si eun took a deep breath in and ran for it. Baku laughed and gave him a head start before launching himself off the benches and following si eun.
Si eun ran onto the track and onto the field. It didn't take long for Baku to be right behind him. Si eun dodged the first grab from Baku.
But he couldn't dodge in time when Baku tackled him onto the field making them roll down a hill.
Once Baku was on top of si eun, he wasted absolutely no time. His fingers dug straight into Si eun's sides wiggling them strategically.
Si eun tried to pull, resisting the laugh that's threatening to come out. He shook, pulled and twisted all at once to get out but it was to no use.
It only became worse when Baku saw he wasn't reacting and went for his ribs. However instead of being rough he started going for the light tickles instead.
Si eun couldn't hold it any longer and some sweet giggles came out the cold boy's mouth. Baku's face immediately softened when hearing his friend laugh for the first time
"I didn't think it was possible for you to laugh. I must be dreaming!!"
Baku couldn't hell but tease which only made si eun blush slightly. Baku moved to his stomach erupting belly laughter from si eun. Si eun kicked at the ground and tried to push himself upwards but to no avail.
Baku laughed along with si eun and turned his hands into claws. He violently shook them onto si eun's stomach making si eun laugh louder and shake his head.
Si eun couldn't remember the last time he had been tickled. Wow... Why was he so ticklish? And why on God's green earth was the person tickling him so skilled at it???
Baku worms his fingers up to si eun's armpits making si eun giggle in anticipation.
"Wahahait- plehehease- noho MOHORE-"
Baku didn't even let the poor boy negotiate. Just dug his fingers into si eun's puts and wiggled his fingers.
Si eun's eyes began to prickle with tears whilst his laughter became silent. He threw his head back and closed his eyes hoping for it to be over soon.
Baku laughed and knew Si eun was at his limit so he stopped and helped him up. Si eun panted as he stood up. Si eun tried to be mad at Baku, but truly? The tickling head only distracted him from his thoughts.
"You ok?" Baku dusted off some soil from him and si eun
Si eun looked at Baku, smiled for once and nodded.
"Yeah.."
Baku smiled back and poked his side, making si eun flinch and giggle.
"Smile more, it suits you way better than your face that screams you hate everyone and everything"
Si eun scoffed and poked Baku's side back for revenge making Baku flinch. The boys looked at each other, Baku, who was no longer laughing and slowly backing away, and si eun, who was grinning and getting ready to chase Baku.
Hyun-tak and Jun-tae saw si eun chasing Baku later on and decided to go help si eun, leaving si eun without anything but happy thoughts <333
