Somniad reminds us that life is transient. The line work makes it appear as if the creature is falling in mid-air, braced for impact below. Each set of arms is positioned differently, as if to indicate that the creature is prepared for a variety of incomes. We can learn to adapt to the situations life throws at us by taking in the action of this piece.
