Erika Andiola's Mom and Brother were taken by ICE last night
ENOUGH IS ENOUGH
Please show your support
On the night of January 10th, 2013 Erika and her family were at home spending time with each other. There was a knock on the door and Erika answer. The first thing she saw was an ICE officer hand-cuffing her brother who was with a neighbor. In front of Erika was another ICE officer asking her for Maria, her mother.
Erika told the ICE officer if they had a warrant or what was the reason for ICE taking her family. The answer was that the family was undocumented and they had to go. They hand-cuffed her mother and drove away.
Erika and her younger brother were left in the living room alone after being separated from their mother and brother. Erika is a national leader for immigrant youth. Her story and activism is widely and publicly known. Even recently ICE and President Obama have stated that they will not deport individuals without a criminal record, but our families are still being separated.
We have to end this now. Help us keep this family together.
CALL ICE
“Hi, my name is ____________. I’m calling because you are currently holding Maria and Heriberto. They are a hard working family. This is unjust and inhumane. You can use prosecutorial discretion and release them. We will keep calling until this family is released.”
