Sandhy Sondoro - Tak Pernah Padam
When he was in Germany, he started his music career by joining a band on his campus. rarely appeared on stage, he decided to find a job as he lived alone and needed to support himself.
Sandhy Sondoro had an opportunity to work in one of the supermarkets but didn't get the job as he arrived late for the interview. on his was back, he saw a Busker on the street and asked if he, borrowing his friends guitar, could join him. they started playing on the streets of Biberach an der Riss for three times a week before he decided to do it alone.
in 1998 he moved back to Berlin to further evolve his music career, accompanied by his guitar, to sing and perform in bars, clubs. "Down on the Streets", one of his earlier famous track, was inspired from his experience performing in Berlin metros.
from there on, Sandhy Sondoro performed in famous theatres like the House of World Cultures in Berlin, and Bode museum isle festival. in 2005, Sandy has performed in a charity concert for the 2004 Indian Ocean Earthquake and Tsunami Victims called "Berlin for Asia"
in order not to confuse his fans, Sandhy changed his stage name from Soendhoro to Sondoro, which has a meaning of "The Sound of Gold" in Latin.
Sandhy found a wider audience through Stefan Raab´s casting show, a popular segment within one of Germany´s most successful late night shows SSDSDSSWEMUGABRTLAD . On April 25, 2008 he published his debut album "Why Dont We", after releasing his first single "Down on the Street".
