《金蛇狂舞》是聂耳于1934年根据民间乐曲《倒八板》整理改编的一首民族管弦乐曲。乐曲的旋律昂扬，热情洋溢，锣鼓铿锵有力，渲染了节日的欢腾气氛。2008年北京奥运会开闭幕式上就是使用的该曲作为背景音乐来烘托奥运会这一全世界人民的节日的欢腾气氛和浓郁的中国特色。

Background of the Silk Road:

The Silk Road, or Silk Route, is a series of trade and cultural transmission routes that were central to cultural interaction through regions of the Asian continent connecting the West and East by linking traders, merchants, pilgrims, monks, soldiers, nomads, and urban dwellers from China and India to the Mediterranean Sea during various periods of time. 

Extending 4,000 miles (6,437 kilometres), the Silk Road derives its name from the lucrative trade in Chinese silk carried out along its length, beginning during the Han Dynasty (206 BC – 220 AD).

Became Shangyin Folk Music Chinese Orchestra's resident composer after graduation; transferred into Central Folk Chinese Orchestra & took up the same role

Main works include "Silk Road", "Dragon Totem", "Taiji", "Mount Fuchun (Painting)", "Impressions of National Music" etc.

Her signature folk piece "Silk Road" is highly sought-after performance piece by modern folk chinese orchestras locally (China) and internationally.
