(Oh goodness guys, I have so many fandoms...who is ready for some randomness?)

The Raven Cycle:  Richard Campbell Gansey III (I love Gansey and his wonderful ridiculousness.)

DC Comics:  Richard ‘Dick’ Grayson (He has always been and will always be my favorite.  His quips while fighting, his butt...It’s hard to pick out one reason why I enjoy him, I just do.)

Smallville:  Oliver Queen  (What can I say?  I enjoy the gorgeous, rich playboy that hides deep scars.  I really enjoyed this representation of the character, and he added another aspect to a show I really enjoy.)

Ronin Warriors (Yorodai Samurai Troopers)::  Sage Date/ Seiji Date (I said this would be random didn’t I?  A poorly dubbed and worse subbed anime with so much to enjoy.  A blond samurai with a giant sword that channels light and is a master of sarcasm?  Yes please.)

Sons of Destiny:  Evanor (Even though my cat is named after another of the brothers, Evanor is my favorite.  He is kind, strong, and takes care of his brothers.)

Shadowhunters:  Magnus Bane  (This is for all the books written by Cassandra Clare as well as the television show.  There’s something to be said for a centuries old warlock that lies about his age, wears a lot of glitter, and cares so much for the people around him even if he pretends not to sometimes.)

Percy Jackson: Nico Di Angelo (My poor child, I just want to hug him constantly.  All the time.)

Inheritance Cycle:  Murtagh  (I loved him in the beginning when he and Eragon were friends, and then he was bad, but he was bad at being bad...I liked it)

Supernatural:  Castiel (So powerful...So clueless about most things...)

Ice Fantasy:  Ka Suo (I have been binge watching this lately.  Ka Suo just wants to take care of everyone and the chance to be happy.  And the universe just doesn’t want it to happen...But it is hard to choose a favorite in a show so well written.)

Lórien, if Legolas was honest to himself, this was one of the most beautiful places in Middle Earth. He had never seen a forest with the likes of it before and though he had seen beautiful places, nothing could compare to the splendor of the house of Lady Galadriël. 

And thus, enjoying the serenity of the realm, the Elf explored Caras Galadhon, following the paths to parts he had not been to before. After all, an Elven realm always had new things to discover. It was this way that he found himself eventually near the Mirror of Galadriël, looking around and taking in the surroundings when he spotted another Elf. Stopping to look at the other, he realised he had seen him before though he could not quite place it yet. “You seem familiar to me, have I met you before?” His voice was soft, not wanting to startle the other as he approached.

I don’t really like Tauriel all that much, and I think the movies would have been better without her because they wouldn’t have had to do the astonishing plot gymnastics needed to make her fit in. Mostly I’m just disappointed because I get what they were TRYING to do by including Tauriel, but I don’t think they succeeded.

Lindir slipped out of his slumber gradually, the tendrils of early morning light that crawled from around the curtains pulling him from reverie as they usually did. He face was rested against the back of someone’s head, their soft, dark hair clouding his vision. It took him a moment to remember just who he’d fallen asleep with, and when he did, his heart nearly stopped.

Despite being at least a head taller than the councillor, Lindir was incredibly intimidated by him. He didn’t exactly know why, but he usually felt like a silly child in Erestor’s presence.

He sat up quickly, tugging his arm out from underneath Erestor as gently as he could. He’d been fully intending to leave, but upon realising that they were in his own bed chambers, he wasn’t quite sure how to go about it.

Erestor was always an early riser and the morning light, coupled with Lindir’s movements, easily awoke him. He knew at once that this wasn’t his room - his own bed was smaller, and he would not have brought someone there.

Opening his eyes, he was a little surprised to see Lindir, of all people. 

“Oh.” He sat up, blinking away the bleariness in his eyes. “Good morning, Lindir. Are these your rooms?”

Turning over a new leaf

It had been a couple weeks since FIn had finished moving the boxes full of his possessions into his Grandfather’s house, but the time was passing so slowly it felt as though it had been months.  He just had to get out of that house.  The sun shining outside was enough to pull him outside to wander around his new home.  At least after assuring his grandfather that he had his phone in his pocket.  With one last assurance that he would be fine, he was out the door.

Out in the free air, he immediately felt better, more free.  It did not take him too long to find his way to an area of town that seemed filled with shops, even if he couldn’t quite remember which direction he had taken to get there.  He smiled at the sight of a store that had books in the window.  It had been a while since he had picked up any knew reading material, and so he turned his steps to walk through the door.

As soon as he had entered the store, the smell of the books helped to soothe the last of his restlessness.  Now he just had to find the right book to occupy his time.  With no idea how this shop was set up, he just began to wander, not noticing time passing, or anyone else.  It didn’t take long for his mind to wander away from even looking for a certain title or section, so he was just browsing, lost in thought really.  Just existing without worrying about anything else was nice for the moment.

“I know that look. I’ve never been able to figure out how your mind works, but I know when it works.”

Glorfindel was startled from his thoughts by Lindir’s words.  “Now, Lindir, it almost sounds as though you are telling me that at most times my mind does not work,” he teased lightly.
