Me ranting because there’s so much emotion going on in this new Instincts Chapter edits and I-

“That’s a woman! THAT’S HOW A WOMAN HANDLES STRESS. You can’t write a woman like you would a man going through something. A man will fight the issue head-on with his fists, but it’s often difficult for young men to have examples of how to fight trauma within themselves that they can’t fully address because it’s not a physical thing they can grasp. It’s even hard for them to identify it. That’s where you put a woman’s strength into play. It’s that inner strength, not just her muscles, that says, ‘I’M SCARED. YOU’RE SCARED. But we’re gonna get through this together because WE CAN AND WE WILL.’ For most video game heroes, they don’t always have that beacon in the darkness to give them that hope through whatever they’re going through. A woman can. First, the woman addresses it herself, then she identifies it for the others to recognize what they are similarly going through, AND THEN A WOMAN DEMONSTRATES HOW TO FIGHT EMOTIONAL STRESS WITH EMOTION EMPOWERMENT. It’s not just comforting, ‘oh boohoo, let me kiss it and make it feel better-’ NO. IT’S TEACHING THESE MEN HOW TO DEAL WITH THEIR EMOTIONS. So when she’s not around, they can say, “I’M SCARED. WE’RE SCARED. We’re gonna fight through this together’ when she’s not around, which then SHOWS THE AUDIENCE THAT THAT MALE LEAD HAS GAINED THE WOMAN’S STRENGTH PERMEANTLY IMPACTING HIS DEVELOPMENT AND CHARACTER ACHIEVEMENT GOALS. If you do not write your women AS WOMEN, with their strengths being something that your other characters lack, then you will NEVER have that moment of true feminism empowerment because it’s not about the girl’s muscles, it’s how she deals with her challenges in a WOMANLY WAY.”

Instincts got me going OFF. lol Please stick around for that chapter edit update, it’s pretty intense, so much more than it’s first draft. Okay, thank you for reading my rant cause EMOTIONS. EMOTIONAL POWER. STRIFE. AHHHHHHH
