1 of the skills I’ve learned over my time as a digital artist has been photo editing!!! I sometimes get too scared to share them, but I decided to post theses!!! Movie shadow is growing on me,,, he looks very tiny and little,,

shadow regressor n cg rouge doodle + hcs!!

I love these two as qpr and I really love the idea of shadow regressing so i automatically knew she’d be a great cg to him :3

rouge caught him one day and he really thought it was over for him and his reputation, but turns out she thought it was sweet and single-handedly made the decision to be his cg.

shadow was reluctant to regress at all around her, hating to be vunrable around anyone, until she eventually broke through to him and he now gets super cuddly and overly clingy with her when he’s small.

he rarely talks, but rouge understands him enough to get the point across.

omega doesn’t know what shadow’s doing when he acts like a child, but doesn’t mind. rouge had to get it in his head that medically, he was fine, because omega was about to take him off to a hospital for irregular behavior until she intervened.

shadow loves space and stars, and even has a few cute star/planet shaped teethers, and of course, glow stars.

as I made this I came up with a few little hcs!! I’ve never really posted hcs before se we’ll see how this goes,,, and this is esp. for movie shadow since he’s a little different than mainline shadow <3

regressor shadow and cg stone headcannons below cut

(plot-based hcs) - shadow started slipping a few hours after he escaped from prison island. at that point he was alone and didn’t have anyone, so he just hid and waited it out. he didn’t know what was happening, all he knew was that he was very scared and felt very small, and generally it was very impure first experience with it. - after he meets with the professor, he immediately feels smaller, but not as much as he did before. mostly to when he was little and naive, to a time before the attack. he masked the majority of his regression around gerald, scared of making a bad impression and looking weak. - when robotnik and gerald reunite, shadow feels very much like the professor’s pushed him aside for some human he’s never even met. he was left alone with stone - initially, when shadow started regressing he didn’t even understand why he did it around agent stone. but after stone picked up on him acting very little and quiet, he decided to help him out and became his cg. (random hcs) - shadow is very clingy out of trauma, and needs to keep his cg in his sights or else he will spiral and cry. - stone knits/crochets and you cannot change my mind. he makes little things for shadow in his spare time. shadow has a little crochet doll of maria that stone made for him after a ptsd episode. it makes him feel better, and stone loves seeing the little hedgehog’s eye’s light up whenever he gets a gift (something that rarely ever happened to him in the past). - shadow is almost entirely nonverbal, especially the younger he goes. while shadow doesn’t have a pinpointed age for his regression, stone is able to tell roughly how little he feels based off how much noise the little guy emits. the more silent, the more babey. - stone lets shadow help with cooking. while shadow might take a little long to do things (it needs to be perfect) and is rather clumsy when regressed, stone doesn’t mind and is just happy someone can appreciate the effort and time it takes to make a good meal. - stone lets shadow wear some of his old clothes, even if his quills poke a few holes and he needs to put holes in the back of the shirts for his back spines. little shadow likes being covered up and cozy, as it makes him feel safe and hidden away. - in addition, stone builds him blanket forts when they get a chance. it always makes shadow feel safe and loved, reminding him of when he was with maria. they watch kids shows and movies, and usually stone can trust the hedgehog keep himself entertained as long as stone stays within 15 feet of the fort. - on days when stone doesn’t have the time or ability to make a fort, he just throws 5-7 blankets on top of shadow and the baby is happy (he likes the weight, it’s cozy and he feels like he’s burrowing). - in his normal headspace, shadow refuses to speak of his regression. not even the cia could get him to confess. he doesn’t even tell stone when he’s slipping, and usually suppresses it until stone figures out what’s wrong and coaxes him into regression for his own good.
